Research Experience
Yi Wang Laboratory
@ Weill Cornell Medicine
(Aug 2025 - present)
I am currently working with Dr. Yi Wang and his group at Weill Cornell Medicine. The lab focuses on advanced MR imaging techniques such as quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM) and quantitative transport mapping (QTM). My research so far has been exploring applications of deep learning in QSM.
Computational Biomedical Imaging Group
@ University of Iowa
(Mar 2019 - Aug 2024)
I was a research assistant with Prof. Mathews Jacob’s computational biomedical imaging group (CBIG) at the University of Iowa. I began as a summer intern in high school and continued as an undergraduate research assistant. My work focused on novel deep learning algorithms for inverse problems, particularly MRI reconstruction. I completed my master's thesis at the University of Iowa, advised by Prof. Jacob.
Iowa Initiative for Artificial Intelligence
@ University of Iowa
(Aug 2022 - Aug 2024)
I was a research assistant in a project with Iowa Initiative for Artificial Intelligence (IIAI) and Dr. Paul DiCamillo of UIowa Radiology. The project focused on classification of foot/ankle CT images.
Industry collaboration with Canon Medical Systems
@ University of Iowa
(Summer 2023)
I was involved in a collaboration between Prof. Mathews Jacob’s group and Canon Medical Systems. The project explored approaches for training model-based deep learning methods for parallel MRI reconstruction. My role was comparing several unsupervised training approaches.
